Local Brownie troop raises funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand

Christ the King School’s girl scout Brownies hold their first Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser at the school on Friday. The girls will earn a batch after the event and leader, Michelle M. Murphy-Rozanski, says she hopes the girls will learn about giving back to the community and spending time for a cause they believe in rather than just for themselves. So far, they have recieved $380 from donations on their website, as well as $860 from lemonade stand at school, June 1, 2012, Philadelphia, Pa. (Maria Pouchnikova)
