The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detectives Division is seeking the public’s help in locating the following most-wanted suspects in connection with crimes in the Northeast:
• Lamont Alexander, 30, is wanted for aggravated assault and related offenses.
On June 26 at about 12:40 p.m., Alexander was at the home of a woman acquaintance when they began to argue, police said. Alexander allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and swung it at the woman, who suffered a stab wound of the right foot. Alexander fled from the residence. The victim called 911 and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Alexander is black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and is known to frequent the area of the 4400 block of Howell St.
• Kevin Ellis, 22, is wanted for robbery and related offenses.
On July 11 at about 6 p.m., Ellis allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint as the victim was attempting to buy an all-terrain vehicle from Ellis. Ellis had agreed to sell an ATV to the victim for $1,800, police said. When the victim arrived outside Ellis’ residence, Ellis entered the victim’s car and allegedly pulled a handgun on him. The victim surrendered $1,800 cash to Ellis, who fled the area.
Ellis is white, 6 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is known to frequent the area of the 2000 block of Lansing St.
• Alphonse Rome, 22, is wanted for robbery and related offenses.
On March 7 at about 10:40 p.m., Rome allegedly attacked a man outside an apartment building in the area of Woodhaven and Barbary roads. Rome punched the victim in the face, pointed a handgun at him and struck him in the head with the weapon, before stealing jewelry and prescription medication from the victim, police said.
Rome, who is also known as “Juvy,” is black, 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and is known to frequent the area of the 3100 block of Woodhaven Road.
• David Ruiz, 21, is wanted for violations of Pennsylvania’s Uniform Firearms Act.
On three occasions, Ruiz allegedly conspired with a second unidentified man to sell firearms illegally to third parties. The violations occurred Dec. 23, Dec. 30 and Feb. 14, police said.
Ruiz, who is also known as “Dirty,” is Hispanic with a light complexion, 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes and is known to frequent the area of the 1300 block of Steinber St. ••
