Reward for info on suspect in slaying

The city of Philadelphia is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Mayfair man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Thursday in Germantown.

Police say that Anthony Baker, 26, has a last known address on the 6300 block of Algard St., although his whereabouts are unknown.

The shooting occurred at Marion and Hansberry streets at 1:29 a.m. Officers from the 39th Police District responded to a report of gunfire and found David McClenic, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds of the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators determined that McClenic had been involved in a physical altercation with several males.

Baker is considered armed and dangerous. He is black and is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 130 pounds.
