Saluting the local Fox Rok football champs!

The Fox-Rok Ravens won a na­tion­al foot­ball cham­pi­on­ship earli­er this month in Flor­ida.

The Fox-Rok Ravens cap­tured the Amer­ic­an Youth Foot­ball Na­tion­al Di­vi­sion I Ca­det cham­pi­on­ship earli­er this month in Flor­ida.

The Ravens, who are based out of Lack­man Play­ground in Bustleton, qual­i­fied for the cham­pi­on­ship tour­na­ment by win­ning the Big East Re­gion­al title game last month in Brook­lyn.

The eight-team na­tion­al tour­na­ment took place at Aus­tin-Tin­dall Re­gion­al Park in Kissim­mee, Fla.

The Ravens de­feated the Man­as­sas Mutiny (Va.), 32-12, in their first game. Next, they topped the Desert High­lands Jag­uars Black (Ar­iz), 32-13.

In the cham­pi­on­ship game, they edged the Prince George’s Storm (Md.), 8-7. Dav­on Ar­ring­ton ran for a touch­down. Ant­o­nio Ditri fol­lowed with the 2-point kick. Ant­o­nio made all nine of his kicks in the tour­na­ment.
