The 8-month-old sweetheart of a cat is looking forward to Santa Claus bringing her toy mice and catnip for Christmas, though she would prefer a calm household for a permanent home.

Fifi is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

To adopt Fifi, fill an application at http://nar.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=4994150 ••

Gloria hallelujah

Gloria is a stunning 5-month-old calico/tortoiseshell female kitten who was found living all alone out in the world.

The cat, who is in foster care via Forgotten Cats, needs a patient family who will give her time and love to thrive.

Gloria is good with other cats and dogs. She is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

To apply to adopt Gloria, visit www.petfinder.com/shelters/PA586.html or go to the PetSmart at 901 Old York Road in Jenkintown. ••

Pretty, Pretty Patcha

Patcha is a 3- to 5-year-old female pit bull mix who was surrendered to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., because her owner was moving.

Her tag number is A16838428.

The dog is nervous at the shelter. But when she gets outside, she is super sweet and wants nothing more than to cuddle. She wants to meet any other dogs or children under age 12 in the household.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
