Police probe three separate shootings

Of­ficers in­vest­ig­at­ing a re­port of a per­son with a gun near the 500 block of Chel­ten­ham Ave. Sat­urday night found a 14-year-old girl shot once in a leg and once in her chest be­hind a home on the 500 block of Ros­a­lie St.

Of­ficers rushed the girl to Al­bert Ein­stein Med­ic­al Cen­ter where she re­mains in stable con­di­tion, po­lice said Tues­day.

There have been no ar­rests.

A teen­ager was found shot in Frank­ford on Fri­day, po­lice said Monday.

Po­lice in­vest­ig­at­ing re­ports of gun­shots on the 5200 block of Hawthorne St. at 9:31 p.m. found the 15-year-old boy with a gun­shot wound to his shoulder.

Po­lice said the teen was taken to St. Chris­toph­er’s Hos­pit­al for Chil­dren where he was re­por­ted in crit­ic­al, but stable, con­di­tion.

A 19-year-old man was found shot and crit­ic­ally wounded late Thursday near Cottman Av­en­ue and Roosevelt Boulevard, po­lice said Fri­day.

Of­ficers called to the area at 10:40 p.m. found the vic­tim in a drive­way be­hind homes on Revere Street with a gun­shot wound.

He was taken to Aria Health’s Tor­res­dale cam­pus, where he was lis­ted in crit­ic­al con­di­tion, po­lice said.

No one was ar­res­ted for the shoot­ing, but the vic­tim was placed un­der ar­rest be­cause he had a hand­gun on him when found, po­lice said. An in­vest­ig­a­tion is con­tinu­ing. ••
