HistoryFaire is this Saturday

The North­east Phil­adelphia His­tory Net­work will present the third an­nu­al North­east Phil­adelphia His­tory­Faire on Sat­urday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cam­pus Cen­ter of Holy Fam­ily Uni­versity, at Frank­ford and Grant av­en­ues.

The pub­lic is in­vited to at­tend. Ad­mis­sion is free. There is plenty of free, off-street park­ing.

His­tor­ic­al so­ci­et­ies and com­munity or­gan­iz­a­tions will dis­play and dis­cuss the his­tory of North­east neigh­bor­hoods. The Friends of Lower Dub­lin Academy will hold a his­tor­ic­al-book sale.

The day will also in­clude live bluegrass mu­sic, an au­dio-video present­a­tion and an out­door black­smith­ing demon­stra­tion by Bob Her­rmann and Civil War re-en­act­ment.

The North­east Phil­adelphia His­tory Net­work meets on the first Wed­nes­day of the month at 7 p.m. at Pen­nepack Baptist Church, at 8732 Krewstown Road.
