This at­tract­ive fe­male Eng­lish Spot/Lion­head rab­bit mix is in need of a home.

The rab­bit is avail­able for ad­op­tion at the Wo­men’s Hu­mane So­ci­ety, at 3839 Rich­lieu Road in Ben­s­alem. Her tag num­ber is H35954-1. Ad­op­tion hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tues­days, Thursdays, Fri­days and Sat­urdays and 1 to 7 p.m. on Wed­nes­days.

Herbie will spice up your life

Herbie the Love Bug is a 4-year-old tuxedo male cat avail­able for ad­op­tion at the North­east An­im­al Res­cue. The cat was found on the streets after be­ing hit by a car. He is friendly and lov­ing. Due to his in­jury, he re­quires a spe­cial diet.  Herbie is up to date on shots and neutered, and has tested neg­at­ive for the fe­line im­mun­ode­fi­ciency and leuk­emia vir­uses.

Shaunie’s a look­er

Shaunie, a me­di­um-sized fe­male pit bull/box­er mix, is between 1 and 2 years old and weighs 48 pounds. She did great in her be­ha­vi­or eval­u­ation and was friendly with every dog she’s met.
