The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detectives Division is seeking the public’s help in locating the following most-wanted suspects in connection with crimes in the Northeast:
• Aaron Alexander, 25, of the 2200 block of Longshore Ave., for robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, retaliation, intimidation, unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment and related charges.
On Oct. 9 at about 3 a.m., Alexander allegedly broke into the home of an ex-girlfriend on the 600 block of Godfrey Ave. by forcing open a rear door. Once inside, he allegedly grabbed the victim’s throat, threw her against a wall and slapped her several times.
Alexander then took three knives from the kitchen, threatened the victim with them and held her in her bedroom against her will until they both fell asleep, police said.
In the morning, Alexander denied having attacked the woman, then fled with her mobile telephone after she told him she was going to call police, according to the victim’s formal complaint. The victim was treated for a cut and swollen lip, along with abrasions of her arm.
Alexander is black, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and tattoos covering his entire neck.
• John Douglas, 36, of the 1500 block of Hellerman St., for aggravated assault, burglary, trespassing, contempt, violating a protection from abuse order and related charges.
On Oct. 1, a female victim was sleeping in her home on the 7000 block of Charles St. when she awoke at about 1:15 a.m. to find Douglas allegedly in her bedroom. The victim, Douglas’ ex-girlfriend, had a protection from abuse order against him, police said.
Douglas allegedly attacked the woman, choking her and threatening to kill two of her children before fleeing in a 2005 Dodge Durango with a handicapped-parking tag, police said.
Douglas is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 285 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
• Steven Furia, 39, of the 5600 block of E. Wister St., for burglary, trespassing and theft.
On Aug. 8, Furia allegedly broke into a home on the 8800 block of Hargrave St. by climbing through a dining room window, stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. The female resident was home and asleep at the time and later awoke to discover the break-in, police said.
Furia is white, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
• Daniel Houser, 21, of the 2100 block of Borbeck Ave., for burglary, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and related charges.
On July 27 at about 2:50 a.m., Houser allegedly broke into a home on the 2000 block of Disston St. by way of a rear door and attacked a male resident with a baseball bat before fleeing. The victim was hospitalized at Nazareth Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Houser is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
• Ernesto Muniz, 35, of the 3600 block of Decatur St., for aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and related charges.
On Oct. 29 at about 3:30 p.m., Muniz allegedly attacked a female acquaintance inside the victim’s home on the 3600 block of Decatur St. He choked and punched the victim several times, causing a cut over her left eye, before fleeing, police said.
Muniz is Hispanic, 6 feet tall and weighs 260 pounds. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and tattoos on both upper arms, both forearms, his left elbow and his right wrist.
