Louis is a 1-or 2-year-old Amer­ic­an pit bull ter­ri­er mix whose own­ers left him at Phil­adelphia’s An­im­al Care and Con­trol, 111 W. Hunt­ing Park Ave., be­cause they traveled too much.

The dog loves people and play­ing with oth­er dogs, and might be OK with cats. Ad­op­tion hours are week­days from 1 to 8 p.m. and week­ends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more in­form­a­tion, email ••

Co­coa is a sweet­heart

Co­coa is a friendly 2-year-old male rab­bit who is neutered and likes oth­er an­im­als and chil­dren.

The rab­bit is avail­able for ad­op­tion at the Wo­men’s Hu­mane So­ci­ety, at 3839 Rich­lieu Road in Ben­s­alem. His tag num­ber is H36227. Ad­op­tion hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tues­days, Thursdays, Fri­days and Sat­urdays and 1 to 7 p.m. on Wed­nes­days. Grace is a friendly and curi­ous 7-month-old fe­male tuxedo cat avail­able for ad­op­tion at the North­east An­im­al Res­cue.
