Detectives name Northeast’s most wanted

The Phil­adelphia Po­lice De­part­ment’s North­east De­tect­ives Di­vi­sion is seek­ing the pub­lic’s help in loc­at­ing the fol­low­ing most-wanted sus­pects in con­nec­tion with crimes in the North­east:

• Calv­in Hal­lums, 18, of the 6500 block of Vandike St., for burg­lary, theft and re­lated charges.

On Nov. 23, Hal­lums al­legedly broke in­to a second-floor apart­ment on the 6500 block of Tor­res­dale Ave. and stole $1,600 worth of prop­erty, in­clud­ing a Smith & Wesson 9 mm pis­tol, a 32-inch flat screen TV and as­sor­ted elec­tron­ics. A neigh­bor re­por­ted the crime in pro­gress to po­lice. Al­though the burg­lar fled, de­tect­ives linked Hal­lums to the crime through fin­ger­print evid­ence.

Hal­lums is black, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

• Troy Lewis, 37, of the 2600 block of N. 13th St., for es­cape from cus­tody.

On April 4, Lewis was in­car­cer­ated in a Phil­adelphia pris­on fa­cil­ity on State Road in the North­east when he was per­mit­ted to leave the premises as part of a work-re­lease pro­gram. But Lewis nev­er re­turned to pris­on at the ap­poin­ted time, 6 p.m., that day. Au­thor­it­ies later learned that he failed to show up at work.

Lewis is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

• Dav­id Montero, 21, of the 700 block of E. Tioga St., for burg­lary, theft and re­lated charges.

On May 10, Montero al­legedly forced open the back door of a house on the 5100 block of F St. and stole $4,500 worth of prop­erty in­clud­ing a 40-inch flat screen TV, nu­mer­ous tools and six auto­graphed base­balls. De­tect­ives linked Montero to the break-in through fin­ger­print evid­ence.

Montero is His­pan­ic, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 220 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and three star tat­toos on his right el­bow.

• Wil­li­am Moore, 19, of the 5100 block of Linden Ave., for for­gery, iden­tity theft and re­lated charges.

On March 29, a man re­por­ted to po­lice that his ATM card had been stolen and that sev­er­al deb­its total­ing $2,000 had been charged to the ac­count without his per­mis­sion. De­tect­ives ob­tained sur­veil­lance video from a store where the trans­ac­tions had oc­curred and iden­ti­fied Moore as the sus­pect based on the video evid­ence.

Moore is white, 6 feet 3 inches tall and 185 pounds. He has brown hair and gray eyes.

• Nich­olas Severs, 43, of the 7300 block of Brous Ave., for burg­lary, theft and re­lated charges.

On April 24, Severs al­legedly smashed the front win­dow of a cell phone store on the 2800 block of Cottman Ave., entered the busi­ness and stole $300 from the cash re­gister, along with $250 in mer­chand­ise. The broken win­dow cost the busi­ness own­er an­oth­er $850. De­tect­ives re­trieved sur­veil­lance video from the store and named Severs as the sus­pect based on the video evid­ence.

Severs is white, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and vari­ous tat­toos on his fore­arms, chest, stom­ach and up­per left cheek.
