The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detectives Division is seeking the public’s help in locating the following most-wanted suspects in connection with crimes in the Northeast:
• Calvin Hallums, 18, of the 6500 block of Vandike St., for burglary, theft and related charges.
On Nov. 23, Hallums allegedly broke into a second-floor apartment on the 6500 block of Torresdale Ave. and stole $1,600 worth of property, including a Smith & Wesson 9 mm pistol, a 32-inch flat screen TV and assorted electronics. A neighbor reported the crime in progress to police. Although the burglar fled, detectives linked Hallums to the crime through fingerprint evidence.
Hallums is black, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
• Troy Lewis, 37, of the 2600 block of N. 13th St., for escape from custody.
On April 4, Lewis was incarcerated in a Philadelphia prison facility on State Road in the Northeast when he was permitted to leave the premises as part of a work-release program. But Lewis never returned to prison at the appointed time, 6 p.m., that day. Authorities later learned that he failed to show up at work.
Lewis is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
• David Montero, 21, of the 700 block of E. Tioga St., for burglary, theft and related charges.
On May 10, Montero allegedly forced open the back door of a house on the 5100 block of F St. and stole $4,500 worth of property including a 40-inch flat screen TV, numerous tools and six autographed baseballs. Detectives linked Montero to the break-in through fingerprint evidence.
Montero is Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 220 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and three star tattoos on his right elbow.
• William Moore, 19, of the 5100 block of Linden Ave., for forgery, identity theft and related charges.
On March 29, a man reported to police that his ATM card had been stolen and that several debits totaling $2,000 had been charged to the account without his permission. Detectives obtained surveillance video from a store where the transactions had occurred and identified Moore as the suspect based on the video evidence.
Moore is white, 6 feet 3 inches tall and 185 pounds. He has brown hair and gray eyes.
• Nicholas Severs, 43, of the 7300 block of Brous Ave., for burglary, theft and related charges.
On April 24, Severs allegedly smashed the front window of a cell phone store on the 2800 block of Cottman Ave., entered the business and stole $300 from the cash register, along with $250 in merchandise. The broken window cost the business owner another $850. Detectives retrieved surveillance video from the store and named Severs as the suspect based on the video evidence.
Severs is white, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and various tattoos on his forearms, chest, stomach and upper left cheek.
