Police seek help
in finding bank robber

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police are requesting the public’s assistance to identify and locate the individual responsible for the robbery of a bank in Burholme last week.
The robbery took place on Friday at about noon at the Bank of American branch at 1000 Cottman Ave.
The man presented a threatening demand note to a teller, then fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is white, 30 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin to medium build and reddish-blond facial hair. He was wearing a multi-colored baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark T-shirt and a gray zippered jacket with yellow stripes on the collar and sleeves.
The individual is believed to be responsible for the July 11 robbery of the Mayfair Federal Credit Union, 2844 St. Vincent St.
