Warrant issued for robbery
at Tacony Boston Market
Philadelphia police have issued an arrest warrant for the man who allegedly robbed a Boston Market restaurant in Tacony at gunpoint last month.
Lamea Hall, 28, of the 500 block of E. Upsal St., entered the restaurant at 7240 Torresdale Ave. shortly after 9 p.m. on June 29, police said.
Hall allegedly brandished a shotgun and forced five employees into the rear of the business, where he ordered the manager to open the safe.
Hall locked the employees inside a freezer and fled, according to police.
One of the workers used a cell phone to call 911. Hall escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Hall is black, 5-feet-8, and weighs 160 to 200 pounds. He has a medium complexion and build, a bald head and a black full beard.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
Hall is also known to frequent the areas of the 3100 block of Norris St. and the 500 block of Geneva St., police said.
