robbers sought
Philadelphia police are seeking information from the public to help them identify three males who robbed two Northeast 7-Eleven stores late on May 5 and early May 6.
The first gunpoint heist occurred at 11:25 p.m. at 7901 Frankford Ave.
The same suspects struck about a half-hour later at 6927 Torresdale Ave.
In each incident, the lead robber entered the store, pointed a gun at the cashier on duty and ordered the employee to stuff the contents of the cash register into a plastic bag.
Meanwhile, the two suspected accomplices stood by the door as lookouts in each case.
The robbers were seen fleeing the first heist in a gray van.
The lead crook has been described as black, 18 to 25 years old and 6 feet tall. He has a dark complexion and wore an orange and gray hooded shirt.
The suspected accomplices are also black and 18 to 25 years old.
One wore a dark hooded shirt and blue jeans. The other wore a blue and white striped hooded short and blue jeans.
