Police nab pair after
Frankford home invasion

Two home invasion suspects are in police custody following a three-hour standoff at a Frankford house early Tuesday.
Residents of a home on the 1000 block of Fillmore St. reported that two males with guns broke into their three-story twin at about 4 a.m., police said. After the victims called 911 and police arrived, the suspects fled to neighboring houses.
Officers soon caught one suspect on a rooftop. The other suspect fled to an unoccupied house and kept police at bay until about 7 a.m., when members of the SWAT Unit stormed the house and arrested him.
At least one gun was recovered at the scene. No injuries were reported. Police on Tuesday had not released the names of the suspects and the charges against them. ••
