Home at last

The torrents of rain weren’t about to prevent the ceremony from unfolding. After all, this was 40 years in the making, and the Crescenz brothers were ready to say farewell to one of their own in the proper way.
Hundreds of mourners made the pilgrimage to Arlington National Cemetery on May 12 to watch as the flag-draped casket of Army Cpl. Michael Crescenz, the only Vietnam veteran from Philadelphia to have been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, was reburied on the sacred grounds of the Virginia military cemetery, just across the Potomac River next to Washington, D.C.
