2nd Police District

o Eleven highway robberies were reported in the district during the period. They occurred at 1400 Robbins St. (March 8 and 9), 5800 Roosevelt Blvd. (March 16), 7300 Central Ave. (March 8), 300 Cottman Ave. (March 16), 300 Devereaux Ave. (March 6), 6300 Castor Ave. (March 9), 400 Tyson Ave. (March 13), 7200 Leonard St. (March 13), 6700 Martins Mill Road (March 6) and 1000 Bleigh Ave. (March 6).
o Three commercial robberies occurred at 500 Adams Ave. (March 3), 6800 Rising Sun Ave. (March 11) and 700 Adams Ave. (March 3).
o An additional robbery was reported in an unspecified location on the 2200 block of Griffith St. (March 13).
o Police received reports of 10 aggravated assaults on the highway at 900 Sanger St. (March 10), 1000 Van Kirk St. (March 4), 500 Rosalie St. (March 14), 1200 Stirling St. (twice on March 14), 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (twice on March 3), 6100 Large St. (March 7), 6400 Palmetto St. (March 7) and 1400 Stirling St. (March 15).
o Four aggravated assaults were reported in private residences at 6500 Oxford Ave. (March 9), 6500 Everett Ave. (March 10), 600 Adams Ave. (March 10) and 6100 Algon Ave. (March 16).
o Residential burglaries were reported 27 times at the following locations: 300 Loney St. (March 15), 7300 Rising Sun Ave. (March 7), 7400 Algon Ave. (March 14), 700 Adams Ave. (March 15), 1200 Greeby St. (March 5), 600 Cheltenham Ave. (March 6), 500 Godfrey Ave. (March 7), 600 Foulkrod St. (March 9), 600 Garland St. (March 9), 1400 Creston St. (March 11), 600 Rosalie St. (March 13), 7300 Loretto Ave. (March 14) and 6300 Everett Ave. (March 15).
Also, at 1200 Robbins St. (March 4), 6200 Souder St. (March 6), 1400 Creston St. (March 7), 1000 Alcott St. (March 8), 1400 McKinley St. (March 11), 6500 Everett Ave. (March 12), 1200 Passmore St. (March 16), 4800 Fillmore Terrace (March 7), 700 Rhawn St. (March 11), 6400 Oxford Ave. (March 14), 600 Mayfair St. (March 8), 5900 Bennington St. (March 10), 1300 Kerper St. (March 6) and 7300 Loretto Ave. (March 14).
o One commercial burglary occurred at 6800 Bustleton Ave. (March 15) and one school burglary at 1600 Levick St. (March 12).
o Police received reports of 24 retail thefts, 10 residential thefts (including one bicycle), two highway thefts (including another bicycle), three pick-pocket thefts, three purse snatchings and 10 thefts in commercial buildings.
o There were 38 reported vehicle thefts, 32 thefts from vehicles and six thefts of vehicle registration tags.

7th Police District

o There was one robbery reported during the period. It occurred on the highway at 13000 Audubon Ave on March 14.
o Eight reported aggravated assaults included three inside residences at 8000 Leonard St. (two on March 8) and 8700 Frontenac St. (March 8); three on the highway at 13000 Worthington Road (March 6), 200 Ridgeway Terrace (March 7) and 10100 Bustleton Ave. (March 7); one in a public school at 10100 Bustleton Ave. (March 3); and one in an office building at 10000 Sandmeyer Lane (March 7).
o There were four residential burglaries at 9800 Montour St. (March 4), 700 Byberry Road (March 6), 9900 Haldeman Ave. (March 5) and 2200 Berwyn Place (March 11).
o Three commercial burglaries occurred at 1900 Welsh Road (twice on March 8) and 9300 Krewstown Road (March 4).
o A city-owned building at 8700 Krewstown Road was burglarized March 7.
o Police received reports of five thefts from residences, four highway thefts, four retail thefts, one pick-pocket theft and nine thefts from other buildings, including five stores, two schools, one place of worship and one unspecified.
o There were 25 thefts from vehicles, one theft of vehicle registration tags and 12 vehicle thefts reported.

8th Police District

o Nine robberies were reported in the district during the period. Three highway robberies occurred at Grant Avenue and James Street (March 8), 100 Franklin Mills Blvd. (March 10) and 8800 Frankford Ave. (March 16). Three commercial robberies were at 400 Franklin Mills Circle (March 4), 1300 Franklin Mills Circle (March 4) and 8700 Frankford Ave. (March 15). There was a residential robbery at 8800 Cottage St. on March 12 and two unspecified robberies at 9200 Frankford Ave. (March 6) and 2600 Welsh Road (March 7).
o Aggravated assaults were reported at four residences on the following blocks: 4400 Pearson Ave. (March 6), 8000 Frankford Ave. (March 11), 8100 Frankford Ave. (March 14) and 9400 Fairgreen Lane (March 3).
o Two aggravated assaults occurred in commercial businesses at 3800 Morrell Ave. (March 15) and 1200 Franklin Mills Circle (March 3), while an aggravated assault occurred on the highway at 9000 Brous Ave. (March 14).
o Three aggravated assaults were reported in Philadelphia prisons on March 5 (twice) and March 10.
o Nine burglaries were reported during the period including seven involving residences at 4500 Aberdale Road (March 8), 9400 Kirkwood Road (March 6), 8700 Yale Place (March 12), 2600 Tremont St. (March 3), 8100 Ditman St. (March 5), 8900 Roosevelt Blvd. (March 11) and 8900 Fairfield St. (March 11). Two burglaries at unspecified locations occurred on the 8300 block Torresdale Ave. on March 10 and 11.
o There were 25 retail thefts reported during the period, along with seven pick-pocket thefts, 10 thefts occurring inside commercial properties, six thefts from homes, three highway thefts, one purse snatching and three unspecified thefts.
o Police recorded 41 thefts from vehicles, two thefts of registration tags and 17 vehicle thefts in the district.

15th Police District

o Police received reports of 33 highway robberies in the district during the period. They occurred at 1100 Pratt St. (March 9), 7400 Revere St. (March 11), 2000 Pratt St. (March 12), 6300 Erdrick St. (March 12), 7600 Torresdale Ave. (March 12), 6800 Hegerman St. (March 13), 5200 Saul St. (March 13), unspecified block of Cottman Ave. (March 13), 2700 Unruh Ave. (March 14), 4000 Magee Ave. (March 16), 5400 Valley St. (March 16), 3000 Hellerman St. (March 16) and 1900 Granite St. (March 7).
Also, at 3200 Gilham St. (March 11), 4600 Griscom St. (March 15), unspecified block of Princeton Ave. (March 9), 5100 Griscom St. (March 9), unspecified block of Kensington Ave. (March 11), 5300 Frankford Ave. (March 4), 3000 Cottman Ave. (March 5), 2900 Teesdale St. (March 5), 1200 Dyre St. (March 7), 4300 Frankford Ave. (March 10), 5700 Torresdale Ave. (March 11), 7000 Marsden St. (March 13), Oxford Avenue and Dyre Street (March 13) and 4600 Large St. (March 14).
Also, at 4500 Tacony St. (March 14), 5200 Frankford Ave. (March 16), 5200 Penn St. (March 16), 4700 Oxford Ave. (March 10), 1500 Wakeling St. (March 14) and 7100 State Road (March 3).
o There were three commercial robberies reported at 6400 Torresdale Ave. (March 13), 2700 Kirkbride St. (March 7) and 6700 Frankford Ave. (March 14).
o Two residential robberies occurred at 5100 Valley St. (March 5) and 5300 Jackson St. (March 8).
o A robbery in an automobile occurred at Bridge and Charles streets on March 6, while an unspecified type of robbery occurred at 5700 Erdrick St. on March 7.
o Eighteen aggravated assaults on the highway were reported at 1500 Foulkrod St. (March 10), 1000 Harrison St. (March 11), 4600 Worth St. (March 16), 7900 Ditman St. (March 7), 4000 Loring St. (March 16), unspecified block of Oxford Ave. (March 4), 4100 Robbins St. (March 13), unspecified block of Castor Ave. (twice on March 15), Princeton Avenue and Algard Street (March 4), 1600 Bridge St. (March 4), 7200 Torresdale Ave. (March 8), unspecified block of Harbison Ave. (March 12), 6400 Torresdale Ave. (March 16), 3400 Longshore Ave. (March 8), Mebus Street and Smylie Road (March 13) and 5700 Harbison Ave. (March 15).
o Among seven residential aggravated assaults reported were 5200 Oxford Ave. (March 15), 4200 Salem St. (March 13), 4400 Benner St. (March 5), 4700 Leiper St. (March 13), 4900 Charles St. (March 11), 1900 Orthodox St. (March 4) and 4800 Penn St. (March 8).
o There were three aggravated assaults reported in businesses at 1500 Adams Ave. (March 8), 1600 Bridge St. (March 10) and Almond and Lefevre streets (March 15), along with an aggravated assault in a school at 2000 Wakeling St. (March 6).
o Thirty-eight residential burglaries were reported in the district at the following locations: 6000 Gillespie St. (March 3), 4900 Pennway St. (March 3), 6300 Marsden St. (March 6), 2700 Croydon St. (March 9), 4700 Vista St. (March 10), 5100 Valley St. (March 11), 1700 Bridge St. (March 15), 4000 Hartel Ave. (March 3), 1500 Adams Ave. (March 12), 3300 Cottman Ave. (March 13), 6700 Marsden St. (March 15), 3000 Guilford St. (March 15), 5100 Oakland St. (March 6), 4700 Leiper St. (March 11), 4400 Decatur St. (March 14), 900 Wakeling St. (March 3), 2100 Anchor St. (March 5) and 2200 Pratt St. (March 7).

o Nine commercial burglaries were reported at 7900 State Road (March 7), 7100 James St. (March 9), 3200 Wellington St. (March 15), 3200 Ryan Ave. (March 15), 6700 New State Road (March 3), 5800 Tacony St. (March 8), 5200 Harbison Ave. (March 8), 4700 Howell St. (March 4) and 2600 Lefevre St. (March 13).
o Police received reports of 15 retail thefts, 25 thefts on the highway, two purse snatchings, 10 residential thefts, one theft in a school and eight thefts occurring in other buildings.
o There were 51 thefts from vehicles, eight thefts of vehicle registration tags and 65 vehicle thefts during the period. ••
