The Northeast Times provides an overview of crimes reported to the four police districts in the Northeast. The details are based on reports compiled by the Northeast Detectives division of the Philadelphia Police Department.

2nd Police District

o Ten highway robberies were reported on the following blocks: 7200 Lynford St. (Feb. 21), 700 Glenview St. (Feb. 28), 7200 Bustleton Ave. (Feb. 21), 6200 Summerdale Ave. (6200), Montour Street and Cottman Avenue (Feb. 22), 4000 Roosevelt Blvd. (Feb. 23), 5700 Rising Sun Ave. (Feb. 24), 6800 Roosevelt Blvd. (Feb. 26), 4800 Roosevelt Blvd. (Feb. 26) and 7200 Rising Sun Ave. (Feb. 28).
o Three commercial robberies occurred on the 7300 block of Shelbourne St. (Feb. 20), the 2300 block of Cottman Ave. (Feb. 29) and the 6800 block of Bustleton Ave. (Feb. 28).
o There were two residential robberies at 5100 Montour St. and 7200 Algon Ave.
o A vehicle robbery occurred at 5800 Langdon St. on Feb. 19.
o Nine aggravated assaults on the highway were reported on the following blocks: 500 Godfrey Ave. (Feb. 21), 500 Alcott St. (Feb. 18), 7500 Castor Ave. (Feb. 22), 1400 Fanshawe St. (Feb. 20), 2300 Cottman Ave. (Feb. 29), 7200 Castor Ave. (Feb. 24), 7900 Castor Ave. (Feb. 24), 2100 Rhawn St. (Feb. 28) and 7700 Castor Ave. (Feb. 25).
o Residential assaults were reported in five locations including 7800 Dungan Road (Feb. 19), 5900 Shisler St. (Feb. 24), 7800 Castor Ave. (March 2), 7900 Castor Ave. (March 23) and 6300 Large St. (March 2).
o An aggravated assault in a place of worship occurred on Feb. 20 at 6200 Argyle St.
o Residential burglaries were reported in 23 locations including 1100 Levick St. (Feb. 23), 400 Howell St. (Feb. 24), 5900 Malta St. (Feb. 19), 6300 Argyle St. (Feb. 19), 1300 Kerper St. (Feb. 19), 800 Kerper St. (Feb. 20), 1000 Alcott St. (Feb. 20), 6000 Agusta St. (Feb. 21), 6100 Loretto Ave. (Feb. 21), 300 Cheltenham Ave. (Feb. 25), 5900 Elsinore St. (Feb. 27), 1400 Unruh Ave. (Feb. 27), 6000 Shisler St. (Feb. 28), 7500 Bingham St. (Feb. 22), 800 Brill St. (Feb. 24), 1400 McKinley St. (Feb. 26), 6300 Oakland St. (Feb. 27), 7400 Lawndale Ave. (March 1), 1500 McKinley St. (Feb. 19), 6800 Lynford St. (Feb. 20), 6000 Tabor Ave. (Feb. 25), 1900 Shelmire Ave. (March 1) and 800 Tyson Ave. (Feb. 26).
o Three commercial burglaries occurred at 5900 Rising Sun Ave. on Feb. 20, 22 and 23.
o Twelve thefts on the highway, 26 retail thefts, one theft at a bank, two residential thefts and one theft at a school were reported during the period.
o Twenty-six thefts from vehicles, five vehicle registration sticker thefts and 31 vehicle thefts were reported during the period.

7th Police District

o Police reported two highway robberies in the district at 500 Larkspur St. (March 1) and 200 Rhawn St. (Feb. 19).
o Two aggravated assaults were reported, both on the highway, at 9900 Roosevelt Blvd. (Feb. 21) and 1700 Foster St. (Feb. 24).
o Thirteen residential burglaries occurred at 200 Erica St. (twice on Feb. 18), 9900 Haldeman Ave. (Feb. 27), 1700 Fox Chase Road (Feb. 28), 8800 Rising Sun Ave. (Feb. 19), 8300 Langdon St. (Feb. 19), 2200 Strahle St. (Feb. 27), 9600 Bustleton Ave. (twice on Feb. 20), 200 Nandina St. (Feb. 21), 10700 Lockart Road (Feb. 21), 8000 Elberon Ave. (Feb. 22) and 9200 Old Bustleton Ave. (Mach 2).
o The burglary of a non-automobile motor vehicle occurred at 13400 Damar Drive on Feb. 20.
o Six thefts on the highway, five residential thefts, seven retail thefts, one theft at a doctor’s office and one theft at a construction site were reported.
o There were 19 thefts from vehicles and 10 vehicle thefts reported during the period.

8th Police District

o Three highway robberies were reported during the period, including 3200 Red Lion Road (Feb. 21 and 24) and 2800 Shipley Road (Feb. 25).
o Two commercial robberies occurred at 8900 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 25) and 1100 Franklin Mills Circle (Feb. 28).
o A bank robbery occurred at 3700 Clarendon Ave. on Feb. 29.
o Philadelphia prisons at 8100, 8200 and 8300 State Road within the district were the sites of seven reported aggravated assaults. They occurred on Feb. 21, Feb. 22 (two reports), Feb. 28 (three reports) and March 2.
o Six other aggravated assaults were reported. Three occurred on the highway at 1200 Franklin Mills Circle (Feb. 19), 2700 Axe Factory Road (Feb. 27) and 8800 Torresdale Ave. (Feb. 20). Residential aggravated assaults occurred at 12000 Academy Road (Feb. 24) and 3000 Holme Ave. (Feb. 24). An aggravated assault was reported in a restaurant at 9000 Frankford Ave. on Feb. 28.
o Fifteen residential burglaries were reported at 3100 Stamford St. (Feb. 19), 2800 Newberry Road (Feb. 26), 8800 Roosevelt Blvd. (March 1), 3600 N. Hereford Lane (Feb. 21), 8200 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 22), 4400 Crosland Road (twice on Feb. 19), 8800 Revere St. (Feb. 20), 4600 Wilbrock St. (Feb. 25), 4300 Deerpath Lane (Feb. 19), 10800 Crestmont Ave. (Feb. 20), 8000 Ditman St. (Feb. 27), 4400 Megargee St. (Feb. 21), 3800 Woodhaven Road (Feb. 29) and 8300 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 21).
o Burglaries occurred at four unspecified non-residential locations including 2900 Comly Road (March 2), 9100 Torresdale Ave. (Feb. 25) and 10400 Decatur Road (Feb. 18 and 19).
o Thirty-two retail thefts were reported during the period, along with three pickpocket thefts, eight thefts from commercial buildings, five residential thefts, 12 thefts on the highway and 10 thefts occurring inside other buildings.
o There were 35 thefts from vehicles, three thefts of vehicle registration tags and 23 vehicle thefts reported during the period.

15th Police District

o Police reported 28 robberies on the highway on the following blocks: 5300 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 18), 1500 Orthodox St. (Feb. 18), 5200 Penn St. (Feb. 18), 1600 Van kirk St. (Feb. 23), 7700 Rowland Ave. (Feb. 25), 1600 Bridge St. (Feb. 26), 1600 Harrison St. (Feb. 26), 4800 Disston St. (Feb. 26), 4800 Frankford Ave. (March 1), unspecified block of Frankford Avenue (March 1), 5300 Oxford Ave. (March 1), Tacony and Margaret streets (Feb. 20), 7200 Leon St. (Feb. 21), 6600 Algard St. (Feb. 23), 5100 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 23), 4600 Richmond St. (Feb. 24), 1500 Church St. (Feb. 24), 2000 Bridge St. (Feb. 24), Oxford Avenue and Harrison Street (Feb. 26), 4600 Unruh Ave. (Feb. 27), 5200 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 27), 3400 Cottman Ave. (Feb. 28), 4800 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 29), 4200 Elbridge St. (March 1), 6400 Cottage St. (March 1), 4700 Mulberry St. (March 2), 5900 Torresdale Ave. (Feb. 20) and 4800 Magee Ave. (Feb. 26).
o Two commercial robberies were reported at 5300 Oxford Ave. (Feb. 21) and 6400 Frankford Ave. (Feb. 28).
o A bank robbery occurred at 4900 Princeton Ave. on Feb. 26.
o Fifteen aggravated assaults were reported on the highway at the following locations: 4700 Marple St. (Feb. 19), Bustleton Avenue and Penn Street (Feb. 29), 5200 Hawthorne St. (March 1), 1600 Fillmore St. (Feb. 28), 1300 Adams Ave. (Feb. 24), 5100 Saul St. (Feb. 26), 7400 Cottage St. (twice on March 1), 5300 Gillespie St. (Feb. 26), 4300 Waln St. (Feb. 19), 4900 Charles St. (Feb. 21), 3400 Disston St. (Feb. 22), 1800 Plum St. (Feb. 26), 6600 Vandike St. (Feb. 29) and 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (March 2).
o Six residential aggravated assaults occurred. They were at 1100 Arrott St. (Feb. 29), 1600 Pratt St. (Feb. 23), 2700 Unruh Ave. (Feb. 29), 2900 Hale St. (Feb. 29), 5800 Akron St. (March 2) and 7200 Glenloch St. (Feb. 20).
o An aggravated assault inside a store was reported at 3500 Cottman Ave. on March 1.
o Thirty-four burglaries were reported, including 32 at residences. They occurred at 4700 Loring St. (Feb. 18), 2000 Anchor St. (Feb. 19), 4700 Melrose St. (Feb. 22), 4200 Tackawanna St. (Feb. 23), 2700 Ash St. (Feb. 24), 1000 Sanger St. (Feb. 24), 7900 Ditman St. (Feb. 25), 5900 Tulip St. (Feb. 26), 5900 Horrocks St. (Feb. 27), 7000 Erdrick St. (Feb. 28), 3300 Disston St. (Feb. 19), 4700 Vista St. (Feb. 24), 4700 Leiper St. (Feb. 24), 4000 Hartel Ave. (March 1), 5000 Cottage St. (March 1), 4400 Decatur St. (Feb. 19), 5000 Valley St. (Feb. 19), 2800 Devereaux Ave. (Feb. 20), 5300 Penn St. (Feb. 20), 5000 Duffield St. (Feb. 21), 1300 Harrison St. (Feb. 27), 5100 Saul St. (Feb. 27), 5300 Saul St. (Feb. 28), 4600 Naples St. (Feb. 28), 5000 Hawthorne St. (Feb. 19), 7100 Keystone St. (Feb. 20), 5300 Jackson St. (Feb. 21), 2700 Unruh Ave. (Feb. 28), 3300 Glenview St. (Feb. 26), 1300 Cheltenham Ave. (Feb. 28), 7000 Algard St. (Feb. 24) and 1600 Margaret St. (Feb. 29).
o A burglary of a commercial garage occurred at 4700 James St. on Feb. 28. A burglary of an unspecified structure occurred on the 4700 block of Tacony St. on Feb. 21.
o Eight retail thefts, five thefts from commercial buildings, three thefts from schools, 13 residential thefts, nine highway thefts and one pickpocket theft were reported during the period.
o Thirty-nine thefts from vehicles, 17 vehicle registration tag thefts and 52 vehicle thefts were reported during the period. ••
