Teen killed
in car crash

A 17-year-old boy was killed Saturday morning in a one-vehicle accident on Red Lion Road.
The police department’s accident investigation division identified the victim as Albert "A.J." Mascucchini, of the 10200 block of Murty Lane in Somerton.
Police said Mascucchini was traveling east on Red Lion Road, near Sandmeyer Lane, at about 4 a.m. when he lost control of his 1996 Saturn. The road was wet.
The Saturn mounted a curb, crossed a grass median and hit a tree before hitting the front door of an apartment building unit.
Mascucchini was ejected through the back window and was later pronounced dead at Frankford Hospital-Torresdale. There were no passengers in the car. ••
