FBI’s looking
for bank robber

The FBI is looking for a man who robbed a Mayfair bank on Friday morning.
The robbery took place at 9:15 a.m. at the Wachovia Bank branch at 6420 Frankford Ave.
The individual entered the bank through a rear door and approached the teller window. He gave a teller a demand note for money and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. He exited through the bank’s front door and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.
The suspect is white, 25 to 30 years old, about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin to medium build. He wore a black jacket with the hood worn up over his head, blue jeans stained with paint splatters, light-colored gloves and sneakers.
The Delaware Valley Financial Security Officers Group is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
