Nazareth Academy
to host Hanlon 5K run

Nazareth Academy High School will host the first Peter J. Hanlon Memorial 5K Run on Sunday, at 8:30 a.m., at Eden Hall Park, 4025 Grant Ave.
Registration will take place on Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The run honors the memory of Peter Hanlon, father of Kerri Ann (Nazareth class of 2002) and Bridget (class of 2010), who died suddenly in June.
A former football player at Lock Haven University and a veteran of two New York City Marathons, he spent much of his free time at the Jersey shore, running on the boardwalk with his dog Maggie. Hanlon was active with Nazareth Academy, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and St. George Church in Port Richmond.
The entry fee is $20.
Refreshments will be available before and after the run.
