Help the FBI find robber who
struck a credit union in Tacony
The FBI is asking for the publics help in finding the man who robbed a Tacony credit union on Friday.
The incident took place at about 11:15 a.m. at the Freedom Credit Union, at 4900 Princeton Ave. The man in wanted in other heists.
The individual is known as the "Jumping Jack Bandit" because he vaults over the bank counter or climbs over a glass barrier during the robberies.
At the credit union, he climbed through the narrow area between a glass partition and the ceiling to land on the teller side of the counter.
He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller drawer before climbing back over the partition and leaving the bank.
The FBI believes the man is responsible for four other robberies from April to July at banks in Center City and South Philadelphia.
The suspect is black, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5 feet 3 to 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a thin build and a medium complexion.
In Fridays robbery, he wore a dark bucket hat, an oversized white T-shirt and dark pants.
