Frankford dad arrested
for chaining his son to bedpost

A Frankford man is facing charges after allegedly chaining his son to a bedpost in his home.
Russell Fisher, 42, was charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child and related charges after attempting to discipline his 13-year-old son, police said.
The son and two other youths were arrested the next day for burglary, criminal mischief and related offenses for allegedly vandalizing several vehicles at DiCicco’s Auto Sales & Service, on the 4300 block of Torresdale Ave.
According to police, the son is now in the care of other family members.
The city’s Department of Human Services was notified of the incident. ••
