Bikers could face life
sentences for drug ring

Six accused participants in a Philadelphia area, motorcycle gang-operated methamphetamines ring face new drug distribution and extortion charges in a federal grand jury indictment released last week.
Northeast resident William "Tattoo Billy" Johnson, 31, allegedly supplied the Breed Motorcycle Club with hundreds of pounds of the synthetic stimulant between January and June 2006, according to U.S. Attorney Pat Meehan.
Johnson, who had homes on the 4600 block of Bergen St. and the 3600 block of Morrell Ave., as well as a Bensalem tattoo parlor, is charged with conspiracy to distribute the drugs, committing violence to aid racketeering, extortion and weapons offenses.
Investigators identified Johnson as an executive member and enforcer for the Pennsylvania Breed, based in Bristol, Bucks County.
The chapter’s reputed president, John "Junior" Napoli, 35, of Levittown, and sergeant-at-arms, Christopher "Slam" Quattrocchi, 36, of Bristol, were also charged in the indictment, along with members Thomas "Fuzzy" Heilman, 54, of Bristol; Frederick "Pan Head Fred" Freehoff, 50, of Bristol; and Eric "Kicker" Loebsack, 36, of Levittown.
Quattrocchi was a Philadelphia schoolteacher as recently as July 2005 and for a period that overlapped with the biker group’s alleged drug distribution activities.
If convicted, each defendant faces a possible life-in-prison sentence.
All six were among 15 people charged by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office in July 2006 in connection with the drug racket, including one of Johnson’s alleged suppliers, Robert "Molly" Traverse, 40, of the 8600 block of Jackson St.
Traverse belongs to a separate motorcycle club, the 2nd Brigade, authorities have said.
Information obtained in 2005 by authorities investigating suspected drug trafficking by the Kensington-based Warlocks Motorcycle Club prompted the Breed probe.
During a series of raids in June and July 2006 on properties owned and controlled by suspects, investigators allegedly seized 22 pounds of methamphetamines, 44 firearms, ammunition, 10 homemade explosive devices and other contraband, along with $500,000 in cash and bank deposits, 24 motorcycles and various vehicles.
Many of the motorcycles and weapons had been stolen, authorities said. ••
