Somerton man
found dead in Bensalem

A missing Somerton man was found dead Saturday night in a wooded area in neighboring Bensalem Township, less than a mile from his home.
People riding all-terrain vehicles in a wooded area off of the 4600 block of Somerton Road found the decomposing body of Kenneth Devlin, 25, of the 1200 block of Hemlock Drive, at about 9:30 p.m., according to the deceased man’s father and a published report.
Devlin had been reported missing from his home on July 8.
Devlin’s father Kenneth believes that his son and another man hiked into the woods from the Philadelphia side before 6:30 p.m. that evening to use drugs. The deceased last used his cell phone around the same time, his father said.
His body was found on the Bensalem side of the Poquessing Creek and near a CSX railroad corridor.
The older Devlin is awaiting notification from the Bucks County coroner on the cause of his son’s death.
The Northeast Times was unable to reach Bensalem police for comment. ••
