Police seek help
in local rape case
Philadelphia police are seeking the publics help in identifying two men involved in the sexual assault of a teenage girl in the Northeast last month.
The victim, a 15-year-old girl, reported that on May 20 at about 1:30 a.m., she was waiting for a bus at SEPTA's Frankford Terminal when two males punched her in the face and forced her into a dark blue Plymouth Neon.
The suspects took her to an unknown house, possibly near Summerdale Avenue and Devereaux Street, where they sexually assaulted her at gunpoint, she said.
The handgun was black.
One suspect is black, in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and husky. He has a dark complexion and a long Sunni beard. He wore a white T-shirt, blue jeans and Nike sneakers.
The second suspect is black, in his 20s, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He has a light complexion and a skull tattoo on his right forearm. He had long braids in his hair and wore an orange or red Aeropostle shirt.
