FBI on the hunt for
suspect in bank robbery
The FBI is hoping the public can help identify and locate the individual who robbed a local bank last week.
The robbery took place May 14, at 3:11 p.m., at the PNC Bank branch at 2401 Welsh Road.
The suspect entered the bank and approached the teller counter. He lifted the front of his T-shirt and displayed two handguns tucked into the waistband of his pants. He demanded money and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the bank. The man is black, 30 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, a dark complexion and a bald or shaven head. He was wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and a gray T-shirt with an orange-trimmed collar and the words "Big Paper Makers" printed on the front.
PNC Bank is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual.
