Police need help
with 7-11 robbery
Philadelphia police are seeking the publics help in identifying a man who robbed the 7-Eleven, at 5259 Oxford Ave., at gunpoint early Monday morning.
The man entered the store at about 2 a.m., pointed a gun at the lone attendant and made off with cash and cigarettes, police said.
Surveillance cameras filmed the mans uncovered face in the store. The man initially wore a hood but was unable to enter through the stores security door, which is typically locked during nighttime. After the man complied with the attendants instruction to remove his hood, the attendant buzzed him inside.
Police say the suspect is black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He has close cropped hair and a moustache. He was wearing a black 3/4-length jacket with fur trim and black jeans.
