Bank robber
is on the loose

The FBI is looking for a suspect in the robbery of a Rhawnhurst bank last week.
The robbery took place Feb. 26 at the Firstrust Bank branch at 1931 Cottman Ave.
The man entered the bank at 2:50 p.m. and presented a note that directed the teller to give him money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he exited the bank and fled southbound on Castor Avenue.
The suspect is white, about 50 to early 60s in age, and about 5-feet-7 with a medium build. He had a long white beard and wore several layers of dark clothing, along with a green hood and white sneakers. He was carrying a large black and white gym bag.
