Frank Brickman dies at 80

Franklin Brickman Jr., of Elkins Park, died Feb. 22 at the age of 80.
A graduate of Carson Long Military Institute in New Bloomfield, Pa., he served in the Navy during World War II.
An advertising salesman, he owned Eastern Media, a newspaper advertising agency in Trevose for the last 14 years. He sold advertising space for placement in the Northeast Times and its sister publications. Previously, he sold billboard advertising in Philadelphia for 27 years and was a department store buyer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Maxine Bress; three daughters, Ellen Berenholz, Nancy Vanderbush and Joan Alecci; one sister; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held at Joseph Levine and Sons Memorial Chapel in Trevose. Burial was at Shalom Memorial Park.
