EDITORIAL
Al is a good pick
If the Philadelphia Republican Party loses the mayors race in November, it will lose with dignity, pride and heads held high. Thats because the guy Grand Old Party officials have selected to run against the eventual Democratic nominee is a good and decent man who would likely do Philly proud as chief executive.
We wholeheartedly endorse that man, Al Taubenberger, in the May 15 Republican primary. While Mr. Taubenberger has at least a 50-50 chance of getting our endorsement in the general election, he likely will run unopposed in the GOP primary, and its no wonder.
