Wal-Mart robbery
suspect nabbed in Miami

FBI agents in Miami last week arrested the fourth suspect wanted in the robbery of a local Wal-Mart store in December.
The agents arrested Bilial "Pepe" Shabazz, 36, as he left a fast-food restaurant with a female companion. Shabazz, of Logan, is also known as "Terry Sharp."
The FBI’s Philadelphia office learned that Shabazz was in the Miami area, and authorities there began an investigation that led to the arrest. He is believed to be one of the two gunmen who robbed the department store.
The robbery took place at about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, at the Wal-Mart at 4640 Roosevelt Blvd. The store was closed, but more than 30 employees were stocking the shelves for that morning’s opening.
Two men walked into the store carrying Wal-Mart smocks, appearing to be employees, but pulled out guns and forced a manager into the room where the safe was kept. The bandits used duct tape to tie up the manager’s hands and ankles and stole $351,563 before driving from the scene.
Steven Patton, an assistant manager at the store, was arrested later that night. Authorities believe he opened the door to let in the gunmen and pretended to be a victim of the robbery.
Bruce Johnson, a former assistant manager at the store, was arrested the next day. He was working a shift at the Wal-Mart in Cherry Hill, N.J., at the time of the robbery, but police believe he helped plan the crime.
On Dec. 15, the FBI arrested Christopher "Pun" Young. He is believed to be one of the gunmen, along with Shabazz.
The money has not been recovered. ••
