Teen shot to death
outside food store

An 18-year-old Oxford Circle teen was shot and killed outside a grocery store Jan. 11.
Antwine Jackson, 18, was shot in the head at 12:30 p.m. outside a store on Granite Street near Summerdale Avenue, police said. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead at 4:26 p.m.
Police have no suspects or descriptions and do not know of a motive for the killing.
Police in the 2nd district said the same victim had accidentally shot himself at Bridge and Pratt streets a few weeks ago. Court records indicate that Jackson was charged Dec. 27 with carrying a firearm without a license, recklessly endangering another person and other related charges.

Another 18-year-old was shot in Lawndale early Friday morning.
The Hispanic male, whose named has not been released, was shot in the jaw outside a bar on the 5700 block of Colgate St. at around 2:32 a.m. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition. Police have no suspects or motives in the shooting. ••
