Now that favorite son Jonathan Saidel is out of the mayoral race, Democratic ward leaders in the Northeast have to choose a new candidate.
Judging by the attendance at a recent fund-raiser for Bob Brady, it looks like theyve found their man.
Most of the area ward leaders joined Brady who represents the 1st Congressional District and is chairman of the Democratic City Committee on Dec. 21 at the Sheet Metal Workers union hall in South Philadelphia . . .

Its time for John Perzel to give it up. In the wonderful world of Pennsylvania politics, hes a loser and he knows it. If he hasnt resigned from public office by the time this newspaper hits your doorstep, dont be surprised if he calls it quits very soon.
