Library hours to stay
The Free Library of Philadelphia has decided to keep regular Saturday hours at Northeast Regional Library and two other regional branches.
Last month, the Free Library announced that Northeast Regional, Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional and Lucien E. Blackwell West Philadelphia Regional would be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting on Jan. 14.
However, the hours will remain 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Central Library, at 1901 Vine St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. As previously announced, three local branches, previously closed on Saturdays, will be open that day, starting this week. The Frankford, Holmesburg and Lawncrest branches will be open on Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m.
