The Federal Highway Administration and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation have agreed to extend the public comment period for the Woodhaven Road Draft Environmental Impact Statement to Aug. 11. The comment period began on May 23 and was to conclude on July 11.

The DEIS is available for public review at 16 locations, including the Bustleton Branch of the Free Library, 10199 Bustleton Ave.
The DEIS is also available for review online at www.woodhavenroad.com and through a CD-ROM available from the contracting firm of McCormick, Taylor & Associates, Two Commerce Square, 2001 Market St., 10th floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Requests must be made in writing.
All comments received by PennDOT will be included in the Final Environmental Impact Statement, which will also include responses to those comments.
